Reading Time: < 1 minute

Registered voters in Encinitas will be casting their votes Tuesday on Proposition A also known as the Right to Vote Amendment.

The proposition will decide whether voter approval is required to make certain zoning changes and to impose a citywide height limit.

Voters who aren’t sure where to cast their ballots for this election can check the back of the Sample Ballot and Voter Information Pamphlet sent to their homes or use the polling place locator online. Type in the home address and click submit to find the neighborhood polling place or view the sample ballot online.

Those who vote-by-mail but haven’t mailed in their ballot yet, can drop it off at any of the 29 polling places in the City of Encinitas or the Registrar of Voters office any time between 7 a.m. and  8 p.m. tomorrow. The office is located at 5201 Ruffin Road, Suite I, in Kearny Mesa at the corner of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Ruffin Road. A postmark will not be acceptable.

For voters who need language assistance, election materials are also available in Spanish, Filipino, Vietnamese, and Chinese.
