Reading Time: < 1 minute

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help identifying a thief who stole from a bride during her wedding.

While the couple said their “I dos” during a ceremony at Pala Mesa Resort near Fallbrook on June 7, someone stole the bride’s wallet.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, the victim secured the bridal suite prior to her evening ceremony. The couple returned an hour later, but did not realize the room had been burglarized until the following day when the bride could not find her wallet. Upon contacting her bank, she was informed of multiple charges made on her card(s) during the ceremony.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is investigating and has released surveillance photos of the suspect. Anyone with information should contact the Sheriff’s Department at 858-974-5200 or remain completely anonymous by contacting San Diego County Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477 with information.
