Pet of the Week – Kit Kat

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Give her a break. Kit Kat has been in the shelter 370 days and counting.

That’s longer than any other animal in all three of the County of San Diego’s animal shelters.

Not exactly the kind of record the 9-year-old cat was going for but her owner developed health problems and could no longer care for her. Kit Kat was brought to the shelter and she’s been there ever since.

Kit Kat is a spayed female blue tabby cat. She is an older girl who would prefer a home with no young children and no other cats. Yes, she just likes to be the center of attention! But you can’t blame her. 370 days is a looong time to wait for a new family.

If you’d like to meet our Kit Kat, stop by 2481 Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad. Her animal ID number is A1202018 and her adoption fee has been waived. She comes already microchipped and vaccinated plus you can get her a veterinary examination for free.
