James Kecskes

James grew up in Mission Viejo, California. While attending San Diego State University, he worked at KPBS where he ran camera, set up lighting and helped with set construction. He also interned at Stu Segall Productions where he acted as Assistant Camera for a number of commercials, TV shows and made-for-TV movies. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State in film and video production, James worked at several other video production outfits producing both corporate and commercial videos for San Diego companies. He worked on several feature films as a production assistant and later worked in post-production on the forty episode documentary "The Great Battles of the Civil War."  

James later took a position with the County of San Diego as a video producer with a focus on post-production, including editing, mixing, compositing and 2D/3D animation. James is a multi Emmy-winning producer and editor and has won countless awards both locally and nationally for his work.  

James is married to an art director and they have one child. James is a craft beer connoisseur and runs a blog on the subject. He's also interested in the outdoors, computer gaming and making short films.
