Bounce by the Bay

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Got kids? Get a “jump” on your weekend plans and pencil in a visit to “Summer Bounce in the Park.”

A giant inflatable amusement park will spring up from the southwest lawn of the Waterfront Park this Saturday, July 12. You can bring the kids on down and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and they can jump to their heart’s content for free.

Nearly a dozen giant inflatables will take shape at the park turning into giant air-filled castles, obstacle courses, sports courts and, of course, the ever popular slides. The fountains at the park will begin running at 10 a.m. so bring the family and make a day of it. When the little ones aren’t busy bouncing or sliding down the inflatables, let them splash in the fountain or run around the playground.

The County’s Waterfront Park is located outside the County Administration Center downtown at 1600 Pacific Highway in San Diego. For more information about the park or Summer Bounce in the Park, call the Waterfront Park office at (619) 232-PARK (7275).
